Feering Cycle Club was started in the Spring of 2013 by 2 dads, Andy Bain and Phil Maxted, over a family BBQ.  It started off with a short local loop of 11 miles on their mountain bikes before they wanted more.

This became more regular, seeing the purchase of road bikes and meeting other local guys with the same interests.

Now it has progressed to a weekly event of around 30 members, all local guys wanting to blow away the cobwebs and socialise.  The Club rides every Sunday morning on various local loops, ending in a social coffee or breakfast stop.

The majority of our riders are from Feering and the surrounding areas including Kelvedon, Coggeshall, Inworth, Tiptree, Rivenhall, SIlver End, Braxted and Marks Tey

As well as local rides the Club look to travel further afield for short trips, recently featuring RideLondon100, Cambridge, France, Belgium, WWI battlefields and Holland with future plans for Normandy, Lanzarote, Pyrenees, LEJOG and London-Paris.

Cycling is, by its nature, dangerous and accidents can occur to participants – Feering CC require all members to maintain their own equipment, and obey the rules of the road.  All rides are at your own risk. Feering CC cannot be held liable for any injury, loss or damage caused or sustained as a result of participation in club activities. Please ensure that you have your own third party insurance.
